Marriage certificates

Procedure for obtaining a marriage certificate from  Subdivisional Council

The following documents must be provided:

– Photocopy of the husband’s national identity card;

– Photocopy of the wife’s national identity card;

– Photocopy of the husband’s birth certificate;

– Photocopy of the wife’s birth certificate;

– Photocopy of the national identity card of the husband’s head family;

– Photocopy of the national identity card of the wife’s family head;

– Photocopy of the national identity card of the husband’s witness;

– Photocopy of the national identity card of the wife’s witness;

– Six (06) color passport photos with the heads of the future bride and groom pasted on.
